Day 21 is a noodle-armed big headed young boy marveling at the techno-fireflies buzzing around him. It's pretty much par for the course, incorporating a cartoony character, some sci-fi bugs, and a distinct source of lighting. The grey of the background comes from the use of Copic markers, which I have only recently started to incorporate into my work. It helps to push the contrast a bit and allows me to use the original tone of the paper as a bit more of a medium light brown. Hope you all had a fun and uneventful Memorial Day weekend.
